| I feel as though my work affords me priceless |
| opportunities on a daily basis to witness and record |
| the complexity, the richness, the intimacy and the |
| occasional hilarity of our lives and work. Every day |
| is an adventure. |

| Some days the assignment involves stepping into |
| scrubs and working close by as a surgeon delicately |
| probes the inner reaches of a patient’s brain (or not |
| so delicately but oh so precisely carves and shapes a |
| knee replacement). Other mornings we’re finding |
| the right angles and setting up to shoot the brain trust |
| of a thriving corporate enterprise. |

| To help tell the story of a nonprofit foundation, one |
| day we’ll be following the staff and residents of a |
| temporary shelter and the next day we might be |
| making a portrait at the estate of a community leader/ |
| philanthropist whose vision and generosity has |
| helped to fund the shelter. |
| |
| Our location portrait and environmental assignments |
| have taken us all over the country, from operating |
| suites in uptown Manhattan to the rural backroads of |
| Nashville to San Francisco boardrooms with a |
| magnificent view of the Golden Gate. Finding the |
| comfort zone for each of our subjects and bringing |
| out the right combination of personality, emotion, |
| interest and humor in every situation...that is the goal |
| for all of our images. |
